We are retired and starting a new journey full timing in our rv. As members of the Escapees class of 2007 we are not alone. It is our plan to share the experience with family, friends, and anyone else that finds this site of interest.

Traveling with us are Simon: aka Ohio Tommy, Sadie: aka BB's Bad Squaw, and Jazz: aka OHK Toccoa. They are retired rescued greyhounds and agree that this is more fun than the other alternative they faced.

I guess our fulltime journey Started the middle of May with a trip from Chateaugay, NY to Madison, SD. This was the trip that made us residence of SD, complete with registration, insurance, drivers license, and mail forwarding. On the list of memorable experiences is our visit with the DMV and vehicle registration. This was a friendly, helpful, stress, and completed in one short visit unlike NY which took over 6 visits with different requirements from each clerk we went to.  While in Madison we camped at Lake Herman State Park on the upper tier. This is a very clean, quiet, and well maintained facility, just make sure you fill and dump on your way to a site.

From Madison we visited Donna & Jim near Hudson, CO and 7days later headed back to NY and a seasonal site where we lived fulltime until Sept. 28. This gave us time to get organized??? and retire from McCadam Cheese the U.S. 2007 Grand Champion cheese maker.

The dogs and pictures tell the story for the next week or so and will update more later.
